Lucia comes from a family of artisans, and though she can make pieces on her own, she focuses mostly on buying and selling work of other artisans in her family. Her grandparents worked in rustic pottery–making utilitarian pieces for cooking and planting, but she says, that her generation has turned to artesania fina, which she focuses on selling.
